Thyroid Ultrasound:
Assessment of thyroid size and structure by direct sonographic visualization
Ultrasound-Guided Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy:
With assistance and direct visualization by a high resolution ultrasound, a small needle is carefully inserted into a thyroid nodule. A small specimen from the thyroid nodule is taken, and sent off to a Pathology laboratory for analysis. This will determine if the nodule has cancer cells and if it requires surgical removal.
Diabetes Management:
Specialty care, including Libre continuous glucose monitoring.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Hemoglobin A1C Testing and Lipid Profile Testing: A detailed assessment of the prior 3 months of blood glucose control and cholesterol analysis
Screening for Peripheral Arterial disease: Assessment of arterial blood flow in the legs by Doppler Ultrasound. Diminshed blood flow in the legs is a common, debilitating problem in diabetic patients and predisposes to ulcers in the feet and pain on ambulation.
